I'm also a full-time working - wish I was a stay-at-home - mother. I love my job; I just got a taste of SAHM life when I was laid off in 2010.

I love Diet Mountain Dew. Diet Coke. OP pizza. Buffalo wings. And sweets, especially chocolate!
I hate beer and smoking, and liars and cheaters (and perverts - you better not be checking out my kids!).

I grew up in Iowa, but escaped to the "big city," after graduating from Iowa State - GO CYCLONES!! I'm a former newspaper reporter (my dream job, which I did for several years) and there are days when I still miss seeing my name in "lights;" now I work in the Web world as a writer (I wish that meant writing this blog full-time).
I'd like to believe I'm crafty. I'm definitely a photo-holic (I use a Canon Rebel T3 and my iPhone). And, I'm addicted to blogs, etsy, Pinterest and Facebook (yes, my phone is my BF but not for talking).
And most importantly....
I write this blog for my kids. Someday, I will turn it into a book for each of them. For now, it's my creative outlet, and a little bit, my everyday journal/diary. Won't you come on our adventure!
