We survived!!It was a completely busy weekend with lots of family, a birthday party and Easter, but, boy, was it a blast!
Here is a recap of Tyler's first birthday party:
DecorationsThey turned out better than I ever planned. I wrote on the sidewalk leading up to our house in chalk; had decorations on the front door and then this set up in the kitchen. Directly behind Ty is the "big" - aka parents - cake. His cake is the small Elmo head to the left of him.
His cake was "so big!" - yes almost as big as Tyler! 22 inches to be exact. Anyone want any cake? I have cake coming out of my ears!
Presents
Everyone was so generous. Uncle Brett and Aunt Susie got him a firetruck! Grandma and Poppy got him a sandbox and Grandma and Grandpa Tony got him a swing set, just his size. We can't wait for it to get warm outside!

With only an hour nap or less, he conked out at 6:15 p.m.

Love the picture of the 3 of you at the beginning. Can't believe Tyler is 1 already. Awesome looking cake!! We have a gift for Tyler that hopefully we can get to you when you come visit us at the hospital. :)
